NASA's Artemis II mission set a new streaming record for the agency, drawing more than 149.4 million views across NASA-owned platforms, NASA reported.
The total covered three phases of the mission. According to NASA, the view count accumulated across the launch, the lunar flyby, and the splashdown.
NASA said the figures also reflected around-the-clock broadcasts it ran throughout the mission, including continuous streams of the Orion spacecraft. Those 24/7 feeds contributed to the overall total, the agency reported.
NASA described audience engagement as strong and sustained throughout the mission. The 149.4 million views represent an unprecedented record for the agency, NASA said, surpassing any previous streaming milestone on its own platforms.
The total viewership figure, more than 149.4 million across all NASA-owned channels, confirms the scale of public attention the Artemis II mission attracted from a global audience.
